OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
At Dean the safety and competency of our employees is our top priority. Each employee goes through initial, annual, and job specific trainings. It is Dean’s goal to have all employees prepared to take on any problems that may face them. Our training includes but is not limited to: confined space entrant/attendant rescue, fall protection, trenching/shoring competent person, rigging and lifting, HAZCOM, JSA training, and Asbestos removal.
Dean is an active member of OQSG, NCCER, and Veriforce. Dean ensures that every individual has received the proper training and operator qualification of the task he/she may perform.
Dean is currently in the process of building an in-house training facility equipped with buried pipelines for probing, pig launcher and receiver simulator, heavy equipment training course, blasting/ coating training course and an operator qualification computer lab. This training facility will allow us to properly train all our employees in house, for every job task.
